The project
What it is
Find My Filmmaker is a two-sided marketplace for video production. Clients come to find the right filmmaker for a project; filmmakers come to win work and get paid for it. We built the web platform and the mobile apps.
The problem
What needed solving
Hiring a filmmaker used to mean word of mouth, scattered portfolios, and long email threads to agree dates and money. Clients couldn't easily compare people, and filmmakers had no single place to be found and booked. Then came the bigger problem: getting paid. Filmmakers would deliver the work and wait weeks, sometimes months, for the money, with no guarantee it would arrive.

What we built
Payment held in escrow
When a client books a filmmaker, the money is held safely by the platform. As soon as the job is finished, it's released to the filmmaker. No invoices to chase.
Chat that feels familiar
Clients and filmmakers message each other in a WhatsApp-style chat, share photos and video, see when messages are read, and get notified on their phone.
Smart matching and booking
Clients are matched with filmmakers based on style, location, and budget, then book against the filmmaker's availability in a few taps.
