The project
What it is
FabPOS is our own product: an all-in-one point of sale and finance platform built for small businesses in East Africa. It covers the till, stock, invoicing, and accounts, and works on web and mobile.
The problem
What needed solving
Small businesses in the region didn't really have a system like this. Traditional till systems were expensive, complicated, and made for other markets, and they didn't connect to the accounting side of the business. Owners were left doing the books by hand, and anything that needed a constant internet connection wasn't practical.
The solution
What we built
Sales, stock, and accounts together
Every sale updates stock levels and the books automatically, so nothing is entered twice.
Works on any device, online or off
The same system runs on web, iPhone, and Android, stays in sync across devices, and keeps taking sales offline.
Payments and reports built in
Card payments are handled through Stripe, with live dashboards showing sales, stock, and finances.
